Prof. Dr. Heinz Konietzky

Heinz Konietzky ist Professor für das Fachgebiet Gebirgs- und Felsmechanik/Felsbau an der TU Bergakademie Freiberg und leitet dort das Geotechnische Institut mit angeschlossenem felsmechanischem Labor. Promotion und Habilitation waren auf dem Gebiet der induzierten Seismizität bzw. numerischen Simulation in der Geotechnik angelegt. Nach einer mehrjährigen Tätigkeit in der Privatwirtschaft wurde er 2005 an die Universität berufen. Die Forschung an seinem Lehrstuhl deckt Grundlagen- und angewandte Themen ab, z.B. Endlagerprobleme, tiefe Geothermie, Gesteinsphysik, Georisiken, geotechnische Bauwerke (u.a. Tunnel- und Bergbau), Seismizität oder auch geotechnische Messtechnik.
